Volkswagen has claimed in a document that there are more than 85 thousand 2998cc engines affected by the diesel gate and Volkswagen is about to fix these engines through a systematic process of offering fixes to the users of these engines.
Majority of these engines are being used in the models from Audi, Porsche and VW itself. However, there is a very neglect able amount of these engines is being used in Skoda models too. But in the case of Skoda, it is not confirmed that will they get fixed by VW or from Skoda dealerships.
The automaker believes that they’re going to fix the 3.0-liter diesel engine to the requisites to which these cars were sold,” Robert Giuffra, a legal professional representing Volkswagen, instructed that they have decided upon Brayer.
Volkswagen believes the technical fixes for these vehicles would now not be “difficult” or have an influence on the cars’ efficiency. Volkswagen has started sending letters to the owners of the cars with the details of the recommended fixes.
