This is capable to take the coupe from 0-62m/h in 6.9 seconds and top speed of this engine 146m.h. These units are punchy and smooth in driving with front-wheel drive and a manual transmission system.
The 2.0 TFSI petrol unit is quicker than its predecessor and available in two different versions of 197and 228bhps with same amount of torque, 207 lb/ft. The 197bhp version gives speed with less fuel consumption. It takes 6.0 seconds in 0-62m/h sprint with front-wheel drive.
Step up the Quattro four-wheel drive model with S tronic automatic gearbox it gets even faster, completing the 0-62m/h sprint in 5.3 seconds. Both versions are capable to reach at top speed of 155m/h with ease and give a smooth driving experience with speed and acceleration.
The TTS version of petrol engine is just made for sprint and it is seriously quick. This engine delivers 308bhp of power and takes the coupe from 0-62m/h in 4.9 seconds with six-speed manual and 4.6 seconds with S tronic automatic gearbox. This version comes with Quattro four-wheel drive as standard. At the top of the range there is a TTRS plus 2.5 litre TFSI petrol unit.
It is five-cylinder engine that produces 394bhp. It is also available with Quattro all-wheel drive as standard. This unit takes this light weight coupe from 0-62m/h in just 3.7 seconds, while the sound is superb.
